Diversion Company ("Diversion," "we," "our," or "us") operates the website diversionhq.org and the Diversion version control platform. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
If you have questions, reach us at [email protected].
When you apply for early access, contact us, or create an account, we collect your name, email address, studio name, and any other details you include in your message. We store this to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a user, to manage your account.
We collect information about how you interact with the Diversion platform — which features you use, how often, and basic performance metrics. This helps us improve the product. We do not sell this data to third parties, ever.
Standard web logs: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. We keep these logs for security monitoring and debugging. They are not linked to your identity unless required to investigate abuse.
We use first-party cookies to remember your preferences and keep you logged in. We use analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns. See our Cookie Policy for the full breakdown. California residents can opt out at any time using the banner at the bottom of this page.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data to train AI models or share it with advertising networks.
We work with a small set of service providers — cloud infrastructure, analytics, and email delivery. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We share only what they need to perform their service. We do not share data with data brokers or marketing platforms.
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Diversion or its users.
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or financial compliance.
Log data is retained for 90 days. Anonymized aggregate analytics may be retained indefinitely.
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for all user data. Access is restricted to employees who need it to do their jobs. We run regular security reviews and respond to vulnerability reports within 48 hours.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected].
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "CCPA Request." We will respond within 45 days.
The Diversion platform is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a revised date. If you continue using Diversion after a policy update, you accept the revised terms.
